THANK YOU FOR A GREAT RACE IN 2009!

Thank you so much for your participation and support of the 2009 Colorado Springs Komen Race for the Cure®. It was a remarkable day led by Race Chair, Bobbi Van Riper and her fantastic Race Executive Committee with Honorary Chair Tammy Oakland, Heather Skold and Jon Karroll of KRDO Channel 13 News emceeing this exciting event.

There were almost 7,000 friends, family members, and community leaders joining together in the fight against breast cancer.

As of today, the total that we have raised from the Race; Pooches in Pink; Sleep-in for the Cure; Sponsorship; Merchandise and Donations is $547,783 and still counting.

The funds raised at the Race for the Cure make education, screening, and treatment support accessible to thousands of women living in El Paso, Pueblo and Teller Counties who will otherwise go untreated. To date, we have provided $4,818,774 in Grants in our three counties.
